He brings a fresh and innovative perspective to the classical percussion repertoire, redefining its boundaries and possibilities. In the season 2023/2024 he is debuting with The Swedish Army Band and Gothenburg Wind Band. He is beginning his position as a Co-Principal of World Percussion Group on tours in Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom as well as touring the Nordic countries and Slovenia with his percussion ensemble Peaux Duo.
"One of the most exciting up-and-coming percussionists in Sweden!"
"Filip Korošec of course has virtuosity and technical brilliance that a percussionist of high international rank has, but it is his fine sensitivity and ability to communicate that touches me. These qualities make him a world-class performer."
"With free vibrant splendor of color, Filip Korošec pairs an insightful musicality with technical freedom in a magnificent dawning artistry."
